Return & Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping with Chillicothe Market. Because our inventory consists of pre-owned, vintage, and second-hand clothing, we ask that you review the policy below before making a return or exchange.

Returns

We accept returns on pre-owned clothing within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition as received
  • Items must be free of odors, stains, pet hair, and damage
  • Original tags (if any) must still be attached
  • Proof of purchase is required

Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery for:

  • The same item in a different size (subject to availability)
  • A different item of equal or greater value (price difference applies)

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Chillicothe Market is not responsible for return packages lost in transit.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.

Please note that banks and credit card providers may take additional time to post the refund.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items marked Final Sale
  • Underwear, swimwear, and accessories (for hygiene reasons)
  • Items altered or damaged after purchase

How to Start a Return

  1. Email us within 30 days of delivery at returns@chillicothemarket.com
  2. Include your order number, item(s) being returned, and reason for return
  3. We will respond with return authorization instructions

Returns sent without authorization may be refused.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Email photos of the issue to support@chillicothemarket.com, and we will resolve the issue with a replacement, exchange, or refund.
